00:00Yeah, I mean, President Trump quoted last night as saying Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.

00:07And as you're saying, you know, this is not a new issue.

00:09For more than 20 years, there has been tension between Tehran and world powers over this same very issue.

00:16But how can we be sure Iran doesn't already have a nuclear weapon?

00:21Well, I think we can be reasonably sure because the IAEA, the International Atomic Energy Authority,

00:28has had some ability to verify until relatively recent to inspect some of the nuclear sites.

00:36So what we know, because they announced just a couple of months ago in Switzerland,

00:43that the Iranians have about 60 percent enriched uranium of 275 kilos.

00:53Now, you need for a nuclear bomb, you need about 90 percent uranium enrichment.

00:59But that is quite an easy step to take.

01:02And that amount of enriched uranium would allow them to have theoretically at least six nuclear bombs.

01:08So they are very close to acquiring nuclear weapons.
