00:00Hello there, good evening. Well, once again, it's been a beautiful spring day, wall-to-wall
00:04sunshine in some places. That's away from eastern coasts, though, more cloud here, and
00:09I'm afraid to say there's more cloud on its way as we head through the overnight period.
00:12At first, across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, East Anglia, and then eventually drifting
00:16its way further inland through the course of the night, leading to quite a grey start
00:19across the southeastern half of the UK. But across Scotland, Northern Ireland, parts of
00:24Wales and Cornwall, a clear night to come, but that does mean it's going to be largely
00:28chilly, possibly seeing some rural frost in places by the time we reach the morning.
00:33But for many, even under cloudier skies, it's likely going to be a chilly start to the day.
00:38So it is going to be quite a cloudy start across much of England and Wales, particularly across
00:43the southeastern half, but eventually we'll see that cloud burn its way back towards the
00:46coast, particularly across coasts of East Anglia, Sussex and Kent, for example, too, might
00:51see quite a cloudy day across shorelines. But it's going to be an improved day across much
00:56of northeastern Scotland, northeastern parts of England, too. Less cloud, and that allows
01:00temperatures to really warm up. So you're going to see plenty of sunshine, and it's going
01:03to feel warm in that sunshine, too. Highs of 20 degrees across Aberdeenshire, likely seeing
01:0719 to 20 degrees across northeastern parts of England. But even elsewhere, it's going
01:11to be a pleasant day. Temperatures widely in the mid to high teens to low 20s.
01:16So Thursday is a pleasant day ahead, and you're really going to feel that temperature difference
01:20across northeastern parts of Scotland, northeastern England, a good 10 degrees difference
01:24if you compare it to the day before. As we head through into the evening, once again,
01:29plenty of clear skies, so temperatures soon dipping away once again. Perhaps some low
01:32cloud just creeping into southern coasts, and still plenty of cloud across the far north
01:36of Scotland. Shetland and Orkney, for example, seeing quite a cloudy night and likely seeing
01:40some rain and drizzle by the morning. And it is going to turn chilly once again under those
01:45clearer skies, but likely not turning quite as cold as it has done of late.
01:50Now there could be some spots of mist and fog during the morning, but this should clear away
01:54fairly quickly. And it's going to leave a fine and settled end to the week across much of
01:58England and Wales. Still plenty of sunshine, plenty of warm sunshine too. The only caveat
02:03is across the far north of Scotland. More cloud pushing in here, turning quite breezy under these
02:08cloudy skies, and also some drips and drabs of rain and drizzle just starting to clip into the far north
02:12and northwest of Scotland by the end of the day. But elsewhere, a pleasant end to the week.
02:17Highs of 21 degrees, possibly a degree or two higher where we see the sunshine stick around.
02:21Now as we finish off the week and head towards the weekend, there's still going to be lots of fine
02:27and settled weather, particularly across the south. But we're eventually going to start to see a
02:31breakdown as that high pressure sinks southwards. This allows some frontal systems to move in from
02:35the north. So it's likely by the end of Saturday into Sunday, we're going to see more cloud and also
02:40some more rain. And those temperatures are on the decline as well. But obviously for more updates on
02:44that, you can subscribe to our YouTube channel and then you won't miss any updates. Bye bye.
