00:00The Supreme Court explained the former President Rodrigo Duterte's party

00:07because of the statement that the TRO Court issued against the arrest of Duterte

00:14even though Salima Refran was not arrested.

00:21This was made public by Senatorial Candidate Raul Lambino.

00:25A few hours after Duterte was arrested on March 11,

00:28the former President Rodrigo Duterte is now being investigated by the Supreme Court.

00:33This is good news. The TRO Court was granted by the Supreme Court

00:39that the PRRD should not be released.

00:42We will just accept the advisory from the Supreme Court.

00:45The Supreme Court did not really issue a TRO against the arrest of Duterte.

00:50That is why the court explained to Lambino

00:52because of the spread of false information.

00:55This is a motopropio investigation where the Supreme Court investigated

00:59the spread of false information of the arrest of the former President.

01:04In an on-bank session here in Baguio,

01:07the Supreme Court issued a show-cause order against Lambino.

01:11He has 10 days to answer this.

01:19ordered Atty. Raul Lambino to show cause

01:22why he should not face administrative sanctions for spreading false information.

01:27Atty. Lambino falsely claimed that the Supreme Court had issued a TRO

01:31against the arrest of former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

01:35This misinformation caused public confusion

01:38and misled the people about the Supreme Court's actions.

01:42According to Lambino, he has not yet received the show-cause order that he will answer.

01:47But just now, he clarified that he has no intention of spreading fake news and false information.

01:55Meanwhile, Kitty Duterte went to the field of motion

01:59to file oral arguments for her and her brothers' request

02:03to return to the country and face them.

02:07This should be discussed in oral arguments

02:10for the Supreme Court to properly investigate.

02:13The counter-argument is the petitions are moot

02:16because the president is no longer in the government's custody.

02:20Our counter to that is that's the very illegal act that we're questioning.

02:24It cannot be the very same justification for the Supreme Court not to intervene in this case.

02:30This was included in the Supreme Court's agenda today,

02:33but it is still for deliberation.

02:34So we will have to wait for the court's action.
