00:17to carry out a covert operation to disrupt the drug syndicate in the Iskandar Puteri area
00:26and involve the largest drug trafficking syndicate in Johor for the international market.
00:34Based on our investigation, on 27 March 2025, at around 5.30pm, the Bukit Aman Drug Crime
00:44Investigation Team together with the JSJN IPK Contingency Johor have launched a covert
00:52operation to make and arrest a Honda City vehicle and have arrested two main suspects,
01:04a driver and a passenger, at Gawat Sampakir, a Pansampuri in Iskandar Puteri, Johor.
01:14Based on our investigation on the vehicle, we have found two slabs of plastic packaging
01:25containing shabu poison, weighing 2 kilograms. We also found six plastic packages containing
01:36heroin, weighing 3.3 kilograms. We also found four plastic packages containing heroin,
01:48weighing 1.5 kilograms. After the robbery, we also carried out another covert operation
01:59to make and arrest a honda city vehicle and have arrested two main suspects, a driver
02:04and a passenger, at Gawat Sampakir, Johor. Based on our investigation, on 28 March 2025,
02:13at around 5.30pm, the Bukit Aman Drug Crime Investigation Team together with the JSJN
02:20We found 56 plastic bags containing Pell-Pell-Ecstasy.
02:28We injected Pell-Pell-Ecstasy with a weight of 83 kilograms.
02:36We also carried out further inspection on the rooms in the house.
02:43And we found another 69 bags containing heroin with a weight of 31.2 kilograms.
02:52At the same time, we believe that the house was also used as a mini lab
02:59to process heroin and ecstasy based on the equipment and tools that we found in the house.
03:12Overall, we found 34.5 kilograms of heroin, 1.5 kilograms of heroin-based, 83 kilograms of Pell-Ecstasy,
03:34and 2 kilograms of Pell-Pell-Ecstasy with a value of 14.3 million ringgit.
03:45We also carried out further inspection on the records of the house.
03:48And we found that the main suspect, who was also the driver, had a criminal record in 2014.
03:58Interestingly, this suspect was also arrested in Singapore in 2015 for a drug offence.
04:08And this suspect was actually just released from the Singapore prison in February last year.
04:19So after that, he continued to carry out this drug trafficking activity.
04:25And both of these suspects have been accused of having a criminal record in Section 39B of the Criminal Code.
04:32And if they are found guilty, they can be sentenced to life imprisonment.
04:39And we accused them on the 4th of April last year.
04:43However, we believe that there is still a little bit of hope.
04:47Because this drug is not only for the local market, but also for the Singapore and Indonesia markets.
05:02And we will also take further action under the Criminal Code on the Procurement of Property,
05:10where these properties are being traced for us to confiscate and also for us to procure.
05:16Is the main suspect, who was also the driver, a mastermind or what is his role?
05:23This suspect is a transporter.
05:26A transporter and also a runner to the syndicate.
05:30We still have an impression of him as a mastermind.
05:33And we have also confirmed it.
