Police have confiscated drugs worth more than half a million ringgit and arrested a 33-year-old man during a raid in Mutiara Rini in Skudai, Johor.   Iskandar Puteri OCPD Asst Comm M. 00:00So, first, I would like to update on the arrest of Dada, which took place on 28 November 2024 at around 2pm.

00:11The narcotics investigation team of the Puteri Police Station carried out an operation in the area of Mutiara Rini,

00:19where we arrested a 33-year-old man.

00:26He was an employee from Pontian, Johor.

00:31So, we carried out an investigation.

00:34The bag that this man was carrying was found to have been stolen.

00:413,115 grams of narcotics worth around IDR 520,205, as you can see in front of you.

00:539.9 grams of ketamine worth around IDR 1,980,

01:001.4 grams of Shabu worth IDR 154,

01:054.2 grams of XTC pills worth IDR 500,

01:12and 1.14 grams of Aramin V pills worth IDR 200.

01:17So, the total value of the theft was IDR 523,039.

01:24So, we carried out an investigation on the suspect.

01:28The suspect was found to be a positive suspect.

01:31Dada's name was Matt.

01:32So, we carried out a criminal record examination.

01:35The suspect did not have any criminal records, except for Dada's.

01:39So, the results of the investigation showed that Dada was stolen by a certain customer,

01:51who was also in the entertainment center in Johor.

01:54So, Dada could be used by around 3,500 people.

02:00Currently, the suspect is still in remand for up to three months.

02:06The case was investigated under section 39B of the Criminal Records Act, 1952.

02:12If the suspect is found guilty, he could be sentenced to death or life imprisonment,

02:18and he could also be granted bail.
