00:04It lasted for almost an hour according to PHIVOX.
00:07With the intensity of the eruption, it reached up to 4 kilometers high.
00:13In the video released by PHIVOX, you can see the thick smoke from the volcano.
00:19According to Director Teresito Bacolcol,
00:21the direction of the eruption is to the east of Canluran, which may affect the towns of La Carlota, Bago, and La Castellana in Negros Occidental.
00:31Light ashfall was experienced in the barangays of Cubay, San Miguel, and Lacan Granja in La Carlota.
00:40Aside from the smoke, volcanic particles passed by the side of the volcano or what is called pyroclastic density currents.
00:46The volcano is still being observed at Alert Level 3.
00:50The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines issued a warning that aircraft should not pass near Volcano Canlaon
00:56up to 22,000 feet.
00:59The notice to airmen is effective until 5.51 a.m. tomorrow.
