00:00Just this evening, the Philippine crew of a cargo vessel still in South Korea
00:05that was attacked by the authorities there.
00:07Because the ship was hit by cocaine.

00:16This cargo vessel of South Korea was attacked by the authorities
00:20that it has an illegal cargo.
00:22It was entered by the people of Korea Customs Service and Korea Coast Guard.
00:27When it came to the engine room, they entered the hidden compartment at the back
00:32and saw some cargo.
00:34They got a packaged package that has the logo of a luxury brand.
00:39And at the last scene, white substance was seen.
00:42They got a sample and tested it right away.
00:45They were convinced of the result.
00:47This is cocaine.
00:49In total, the authorities found more than 50 boxes of cocaine.
00:56These are more than 2 tons.
00:58And it is considered to be the biggest drug haul in the history of South Korea.
01:04According to the authorities,
01:05from the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Homeland Security Investigations of America,
01:10is the tip about the smuggling.
01:13They say that the ship came from Mexico and sailed to Ecuador, Panama, and China
01:18before arriving in South Korea.
01:20The captain of the ship is being investigated
01:22and he is being told where the drugs will be brought.
01:26The ship was not named,
01:27but according to J.J. Aglan Companies,
01:30they confirmed the ownership of the ship, the Norwegian flag MV Lunita.
01:35It is not yet clear how the drugs were transported there.
01:38They are already helping in the investigation in South Korea and other jurisdictions.
01:44All of their crew is still on the ship from the Philippines.
01:48They already have a lawyer to investigate the case of the Filipino crew.
