00:00Imran Hashmi's most-awaited film Ground Zero has been released today.
00:06During the trailer launch, Imran Hashmi spoke to the media.
00:10During this, he told how he felt about playing the role of an army officer in the film.
00:17I think this happens on the bucket list of every actor.
00:22At some point of time in their career, they play an army officer or a military officer.
00:28This was also on my list.
00:30I think having a basic disciplinary body language.
00:35And I will give full credit to our BSF soldiers.
00:40When we went to Prasrinagar, we were there for 5 days.
00:44We got training there.
00:46Small things like saluting, decorum, protocol between seniors and juniors.
00:52How to take cover, reloading rifles, shooting at the shooting range.
00:57All these things gave credibility to the performance.
01:02Not just for me, but for every actor.
01:05It was not like we turned up on set, wore the uniform and played the role out.
01:10This was our training.
01:12I wouldn't say it was a challenge.
01:14But there is a gravitas in your role.
01:17There is credibility.
01:19And it's all thanks to the support of the team of BSF Srinagar.
01:23We were able to do this because of them.
01:26Along with this, the actor also shared his experience of shooting in Srinagar, J&K.
01:32I think the people there, the authorities,
01:35BSF's support, CRPF, J&K police, everyone's support.
01:42And the people there too.
01:43I think there is a kind of decorum there.
01:46We never saw any problem or obstacle in our shooting.
01:52I think it was a support system of Srinagar.
01:54I had gone to Srinagar for the first time.
01:56I had never been to Srinagar before.
01:57But I really loved the place.
01:59And the 30-35 days of shooting there, it was a breeze.
02:04Along with this, Imran Hashmi shared how he prepared to play this character.
02:10And what he did to know his role.
02:14Like I said, I was very fortunate to meet Mr. Dubey initially.
02:20He was in Srinagar at that time.
02:22Obviously, when he was on this operation, I tried to know some of his psychological aspects.
02:31One big thing that I said was that the BSF team was of the soldiers there.
02:37It shouldn't seem that the actors have reached the set wearing the uniform.
02:42So, having a body language, discipline, how to salute, all those things.
02:50I think we were there for 4-5 days before the shooting to learn all these things.
02:55Ultimately, you are saying it in the context of a screenplay.
03:01So, you will be true to the story and the screenplay of the film.
03:05But you try to take away the soul of the character from your conversation.
03:12Imran Hashmi also shared how he agreed to do the film.
03:16And how was his experience of doing the work.
03:19When I got a phone call, I had already pre-decided that I will do the film.
03:22And just working with them, the whole process of filmmaking, it was just a breeze.
03:30We had a great time.
03:31There was a sense of camaraderie on the set, the actors, the crew.
03:35And you can see all that in our film.
03:37So, couldn't have asked for more.
03:39In the film Ground Zero of Tejas Devskar, Imran Hashmi will be seen as a soldier.
03:45In the film, we will see the story of India's biggest terrorist, Operation Peace.
03:49This film is going to be released in cinemas on 25th April, 2025.
