00:16Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim today criticized the method used by the U.S. administration

00:21to determine its reciprocal tariffs,

00:23describing it as flawed and pointing to its inclusion of small islands

00:27inhabited only by penguins.

00:30He said the tariffs announced by the U.S. last week were based on very weak grounds.

00:36Among the strongest countries to support free trade,

00:43WTO and GATT were the richest countries,

00:51including and primarily the U.S.

00:56But the situation has changed.

00:59That's why I say, in these post-normal times,

01:04we see some unexpected political and economic policies.

01:14This includes the tariff announcement based on very weak grounds.

01:21Anwar also said that Puja Jaya had chosen to take a moderate approach

01:25as there was room for discussions and negotiations.
