00:00One thing I've learned is the metric that we use when looking to stream.

00:03So when it comes to things like this, Joe and I often talk about, if you don't have time,

00:07you look at two metrics. There's walks and you look at the OBP. And that's going to tell you

00:11everything that you need to know about hitters and pitchers as well. Well, pitchers don't have OBPs,

00:15but walks tells you a lot. Let's move to a pitcher now that's going to undergo

00:18arthroscopic surgery and what it means. Yeah, Reynaldo Lopez was kind of a revelation

00:24last year. Came out of nowhere. Won a lot of people some leagues because his productivity

00:28was off the charts and his cost was off the waiver wire. So that's a huge situation now.

00:33He had the surgery on Tuesday. I'm sorry. He's got it scheduled for this Tuesday.

00:37It's an arthroscopic surgery. So we'll see how things progress. There's a scenario where he

00:44might be out for three or four months as a scenario where he's out for the rest of the year.

00:48I think it depends on when they go in there and what they see, but I'm not holding my breath here

00:52for him. I'm putting them in the IL for now. I'm not just going to drop them for now just to see

00:55how things come out for that surgery. But you've got to be looking for other options off the waiver

00:59wire. We're going to talk about Casey Mize a little later in the show. That's a name that's

01:03out there in a lot of leagues still. And he looks like a pitcher who's starting to turn things around

01:07a little bit. If you're looking ahead right now, it's tough because a lot of these younger starting

01:12pitchers have been picked up already. But there are some guys out there. They're starting to get

01:18off to some better starts. You can at least stream a Louis Varland for a second, right?

01:23We're looking at him potentially. There's a name as well that I'm going to get to in just a moment

01:28from Milwaukee. That is also one to keep an eye on. But basically what you're trying to do here

01:32is stream and patch things together in the short term. And then hopefully you get Rinaldo Lopez

01:37back. But Matt, I don't know about you. I'm not, I'm not cautiously optimistic about this one. It

01:42feels like shoulder surgery. We're going to be missing him and that stinks for the Braves because

01:46they're still waiting to get Spencer Strider back. And now they lost another piece in this rotation,

01:50a team that got off to a terrible start to the season is already having some issues. No Lopez,

01:55no profile, waiting on Acuna, waiting on Strider. The Braves are having a rough month of April.
