00:00Meanwhile, the Braves, Joe, have lost Spencer Strider yet again, and this has to be one of
00:05those situations that you kind of feel like you can't count on the player, and that's really sad
00:09to say, but it's been two of the last three years where Strider basically has not been able to
00:14pitch. Braves have once again had to go through a ton of injuries this season, including Drake
00:20Baldwin, who's getting ready to come back, but Joe, I do suppose if you're Alex Anthopoulos and
00:26you're the president of the Braves at this point, it's a horrible injury, but don't you kind of feel
00:31good about the Braves going out and just getting somebody? I mean, they have one of the best records
00:34in baseball. I don't know that you can replace this player specifically, but the Braves are not
00:39going to sit on their hands. They'll get somebody else. Yeah, no, and it's unfortunate too, but you're
00:44talking about a guy here now. The velocity dip from about 96 to 88 was a good indicator that there
00:51might
00:51be something wrong, but this is a guy now that's had Tommy John surgery. It's had issues with that
00:57elbow prior, so it's not a good situation. I mean, they had hoped he'd come back, and he had flashed
01:05some signs of maybe getting back to where he was early on, but it's gotten progressively worse, and
01:14it's unfortunate, but I hope nothing. I hope maybe just some rest and let him go and do his thing,
01:19and
01:19maybe we see him again, but I have my doubts, but I don't doubt that the Braves will go out
01:24and find
01:25somebody else to be able to replace him in that rotation.
