00:16It's disgusting and as broken as our current system might be, the way that the current
00:23administration is going about trying to fix things is not the way to do it.
00:28They're not listening to the people, all they're doing is making sure that they have
00:32a parachute for them and their rich friends and everybody else here that lives here that
00:37makes the gears turn for this country are just screwed at the end of the day.
00:46I'm here today as a person with a disability to stand up for all the 70 million people
00:52in America who receive disability, who receive Medicaid or Medicare.
00:57They are important.
00:58Their voice is important.
00:59It's a false narrative about fentanyl fueling the pandemic or panic, fueling panic.
01:06It's not going in the right direction.
01:08You know, when I say 70 million people on disability, that's one out of every three
01:12to four people in America.
01:14So you just can't screw over those people and expect for the country to go in the right
01:18direction.
01:19Also, the amount of people being unemployed just suddenly like that is going to change
01:24the services and the resources we have here in America.
01:28It's a bad deal all around.
01:30I'm here because this is wrong.
01:33Everything is wrong.
01:36But also, I'm a teacher, so I'm not for defunding public education.
01:43It just slips out.
01:48And why would you defund things that are teaching kids to do this critical thinking and research
01:57skills?
01:58Plus, I teach at a high-need school, and the kids that are going to be disserviced are
