During the holidays, a manatee was seen swimming in an Alabama canal system and appeared to be injured. Sea World's external partners — which work with the organization to assist in the rescue of injured, orphaned, or stranded marine animals — fielded the call and a team of biologists went to the site to monitor the manatee themselves.
