00:00So, Rob, listen, we are all digesting Trump's much-anticipated tariffs.

00:05Wall Street has opened sharply lower, with the tech-heavy Nasdaq down over 5%.

00:11The White House is telling Wall Street,

00:13trust in Trump, you've worked with Trump.

00:17Will the market reaction we are seeing across the global markets

00:22give him buyer's remorse, do you think?

00:24Well, thank you for the opportunity to be with you and your audience.

00:27And I would just say not at all.

00:29I think President Trump knows exactly what he's doing and why he's doing it.

00:35And what I mean by that, quite simply, is that he just wants an even playing field.

00:40When there is a country, as an example, that's got a 200% tariff on their rice

00:45that's coming into America, that's not really fair.

00:50So at the end of the day, President Trump is only placing these tariffs on countries

00:56that are not being fair to the American citizens

00:59as it relates to their exports that are coming into this country.
