00:00Scotty let me turn to you first of all since you're in the United States. What's your opinion of these tariffs the right way to go?

00:05Well from an American perspective, I think this is actually a global trade reset and it's not going to create doom

00:11I don't think it's even close. It's going to create discipline

00:14And I think what we're seeing isn't a reckless trade war. It's actually I think a very strategic

00:20Recalibration which is targeting all of these structural imbalances that has actually hallowed out American industry over the last few decades

00:27I mean these tariffs are reciprocal. They are calculated based on actual trade

00:32Deficits of the United States has right now and it's not random. It's not punitive

00:36It's mathematically fair and that is all the United States is hoping to do is to create a fair trade system

00:43With our countries and use this as a way to not only benefit American workers

00:48But more importantly other countries become self-reliant as well
