00:19Audrey, the Department of Health is urging our countrymen

00:23to avoid colorectal cancer.

00:27According to the Department of Health, colorectal cancer is the third cancer that affects Filipinos.

00:34It is also the fourth reason for the death of Filipinos.

00:37In addition to the D.O.H., 1 in 1,800 Filipinos can be affected every year,

00:43especially those aged 50 years and above.

00:46Aside from gaining weight, they also get sick from unhealthy lifestyles

00:50like eating fat and processed foods.

00:53That is why they should take care of a balanced diet and follow the Pinoy diet.

00:57The Pinoy diet is a meal planner for preparing food that meets the nutritional guidelines.

01:03Among the risk factors for colon cancer,

01:07there are paninigarilio, obesity, and alaka.

01:10That is why it is important to follow the guidelines to avoid natural diseases.

01:16Colonoscopy is the way to know if you have colorectal cancer.

01:23To avoid colorectal cancer, you should be active in your lifestyle, exercise, watch your weight,

01:29and eat vegetables.

01:31High fiber diet, and of course, early detection like FIP or FOPP.
