00:00Laura, how's Nova shaping up this year?

00:02Yeah, we're really excited this year.

00:03We've got brand new combinations in a lot of our ends.

00:06We've had the really exciting news of a couple of pregnancies within our team.

00:09So we're really excited for our players this year,

00:11but it's created that opportunity to bring some new combinations in.

00:16But a bit of the old and the new,

00:17I've had the opportunity to play with all the players this year.

00:20So whether it's been in previous representative seasons for Honey United

00:23or Remainment or Newcastle,

00:25so we're really excited to come back together and create that family with us.

00:29Who's a player to watch in your team?

00:30Look, I don't think I can pinpoint one.

00:32I think our combinations in our attack end are going to be really, really strong.

00:36Within Sabina, we bring back Kelly-Ann Huggins this year,

00:39who returns from playing basketball, having a bub and now returning to netball.

00:44Katie Lobson's returning after having a bub as well.

00:46So we're really excited for that attack combination.

00:48We're picking up a couple of newbies in the middle.

00:50So Tilly Libby is coming back,

00:53shifting across from North and coming to us.

00:55And Angel Barber's returning to netball after having a fair while away in Sydney.

01:01Myself and a couple of our mid-quarters, we lost through pregnancy.

01:07But we're super excited with our defence end as well.

01:09So we have our captain coach or player coach at the moment,

01:12Katie Robinson, is going to be playing with us.

01:15Georgia and Keely will return.

01:16But we're really excited to have Veronica D'Court back or Smith back,

01:21returning from pregnancy.

01:22So we're really excited.

01:23Once we have our full team back on board, we can't wait to see what we can do.

01:27Who's going to be the team to beat?

01:29Look, you obviously can't go past the reigning champs.

01:32Obviously, they have a very well-balanced structure there

01:35and they have a lot of experience.

01:37But look, we're looking to push it to them this year.

01:40Fingers crossed we'll see ourselves in the first time in the grand final.
