00:00The price of rice has dropped by almost 20 pesos since the implementation of the Maximum
00:06Suggested Retail Price or MSRP with 5% broken imported rice now priced at 45 pesos per kilogram
00:15down from 58 pesos in January.
00:18One of the key reasons for this decrease is the continuous drop in rice prices in the
00:24global market.
00:25The Philippine Statistics Authority or PSA stated that this price reduction has helped
00:31slow down inflation to 2.1% from 2.9% in January.
