Land Rover burst into flames on country road terrifying family

A family lost £12k worth of Christmas gifts when their Land Rover Defender caught fire while driving on the M25.

Caroline Rodda, her husband Grant, and their two children were returning from Cheltenham when the car suddenly erupted in flames after a loud bang.

The family safely escaped, but lost possessions, including luxury items and electronics.

Despite contacting Land Rover, Caroline felt the company was unhelpful, and their investigation was closed after her insurance settlement.

The traumatic incident has affected the family, with Caroline undergoing counselling and her daughter struggling with panic attacks.

Land Rover declined to comment.
