00:00If you look at that, China, first row, China, 67 percent.

00:06That's tariffs charged to the USA, including currency manipulation and trade barriers.

00:13So 67 percent.

00:15I think you can, for the most part, see it.

00:17Those with good eyes, with bad eyes.

00:19We didn't want to bring it.

00:20It's very windy out here.

00:21We didn't want to bring out the big charts because it had no chance of standing.

00:25Fortunately, we came armed with a little smaller chart.

00:29So it's 67 percent.

00:31So we're going to be charging a discounted reciprocal tariff of 34 percent.

00:35I think, in other words, they charge us.

00:38We charge them.

00:39We charge them less.

00:40So how can anybody be upset?

00:41They will be because we never charge anybody anything.

00:44But now we're going to charge.

00:47European Union, they're very tough, very, very tough traders.

00:51You know, you think of European Union, very friendly.

00:54They rip us off.

00:56It's so sad to see.

00:58It's so pathetic.

00:5939 percent.

01:00We're going to charge them 20 percent.

01:02So we're charging them essentially half.

01:04Vietnam, great negotiators, great people.

01:09I like them.

01:10The problem is they charge us 90 percent.

01:12We're going to charge them 46 percent tariff.

01:15Taiwan, where they make they took all of our computer chips and semiconductors.

01:21We used to be the king, right?

01:22We were everything.

01:24We had all of it.

01:25Now we have almost none of it, except the biggest company is coming in.

01:28They're going to have we're going to end up with almost 40 percent.

01:31Lee Zeldin is working to get their approvals.

01:33And it's an amazing company.

01:35Mr. Wei of one of the great companies of the world, actually, they're coming in from Taiwan

01:40and they're going to build one of the biggest plants in the world, maybe the biggest for

01:44that.

01:45But 64 percent, we're going to charge him 32 percent.

01:49Japan, very, very tough.

01:51Great people.

01:53And again, I don't blame the people for doing it.

01:55It's I think they're very smart into it.

01:57I blame the people that sat right in that Oval Office, right over there, right behind

02:01the Resolute desk or whichever desk they chose.

02:04Japan, 46 percent.

02:06They would charge us 46 percent and much higher for certain items like cars, little items

02:12like cars.

02:13Forty six percent, we're charging them 24 percent.

02:16India.

02:17Very, very tough.

02:20The prime minister just left.

02:23He's a great friend of mine, but I said, you're a friend of mine, but you're not treating

02:27us right.

02:28They charge us 52 percent.

02:29You have to understand, we charge them almost nothing for years and years and decades.

02:33And it was only seven years ago when I came in.

02:38We started with China, Georgia.

02:40We took in hundreds of billions of dollars from China in tariffs.

02:45And they understood, honestly.

02:48President Xi understood.

02:49He said, look, I understand.

02:51And the other countries and they all understand we're going to have to go through a little

02:54tough love, maybe.

02:56But they all understand.

02:57They're ripping us off.

02:58And they understood it.

03:00Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo, was Shinzo Abe.

03:06He was a fantastic man.

03:08He was unfortunately taken from us.

03:11Assassination.

03:12But I went to him and I said, Shinzo, we have to do something.

03:16A trade is not fair.

03:18He said, I know that.

03:20I know that.

03:21And he was a great gentleman.

03:22He was a fantastic man.

03:25But he understood immediately what I was talking about.

03:28I said, Shinzo, we have to do something.

03:30He said, I know that.

03:31And we've worked out a deal and it would have been a much better deal.

03:34But frankly, there were many years left in the deal that was made previous to my getting

03:39there.

03:40But it was it was something.

03:42If you look at Switzerland, 61 percent to 31 percent, Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia

03:48or look at Cambodia, 97 percent.

03:52We're going to bring it down to 49.

03:53They made a fortune with the United States of America, United Kingdom, 10 percent.

03:58And we'll go 10 percent.

04:00So we'll do the same thing.

04:03South Africa, oh, 60 percent, 30 percent.

04:06And they've got some bad things going on in South Africa.

04:10You know, we're paying them billions of dollars.

04:13We cut the funding because a lot of bad things are happening in South Africa.

04:16The fake news ought to be looking at it.

04:18They don't want to report it.

04:19Brazil, 10 percent, 10 percent.

04:22Bangladesh is 74 percent.

04:25So you see what's going on.

04:27Pakistan, 58 percent.

04:31Sri Lanka, 88 percent.
