00:00You're captain of Sheffield this season, how does that feel?

00:04Very good actually, it's a nice thing to go by my name I suppose.

00:09I haven't really thought too much about it if I'm completely honest with you.

00:13It's probably going to be something I look back in 10 years time and go,

00:16I captained these lads to win the 2025 Premiership title, so that's when it's going to be cool.

00:21But for now we've got a job to do and we're all looking forward to get going.

00:26Obviously last season seemed like a really good season for yourself.

00:29You won the Championship Riders title didn't you?

00:33You had a good season for Sheffield as well, did it feel like a good season?

00:37It did in the end mate to be honest with you.

00:39I felt like I struggled finding my feet early on.

00:42Changed things about, changed engine tuner, went to Ashley Holloway in Poland

00:47and had John Haworth servicing me stuff out here in England.

00:52Things got me dialled in again and riding along the likes of these boys here

00:57definitely helped fine tune things to put me in the right direction.

01:00I feel like towards the end of the year I was a bit of a force to be reckoned with

01:04within myself and my own personal riding.

01:07Hopefully we can create that same set up again at the start of the year

01:11and all us boys get off to a good start.

01:15How are you feeling about the new season? Do you think it's a good sign?

01:20Yeah, I honestly do. It's exciting.

01:22You've got four guys in the team that should get you 40 points I feel.

01:28And then you've got three guys in the team that's got a lot of promise.

01:33That's exciting.

01:35The way I look at it, if we do what we're willing to do, either home or away,

01:39it don't matter.

01:40If them boys can all jump in and get 15 points collectively

01:43then we're absolutely laughing.

01:45It's going to be an exciting year.

01:48I feel like there's not much pressure on any single rider.

01:52That's what's probably a cool thing.

01:54We've got good strength in reserve this year.

01:56I'm not saying that we haven't had previously,

01:58but I feel like this year it is a bit better in that regard.
