00:06the Commission on Elections, or COMELEC, is taking measures to ensure that Filipinos in
00:10the country can still cast their votes. COMELEC will implement postal voting using ballots and
00:17automated counting machines instead of internet voting. With only 370 registered Filipino voters
00:24in Myanmar, the poll body expects a quick turnaround in printing and distribution of
00:30ballots. Meanwhile, in Thailand, where there are about over 8,000 registered Filipino voters,
00:38internet voting will continue as planned, as communication lines and conditions in the
00:43country remain stable. Automated counting machines are also set to be deployed by Friday.
