00:00Let's take a look at the inspiring story of a business owner who worked hard
00:05and now has a successful sandwich and Korean-inspired snack business here at Tegosyo Tayo.
00:17How did you start?
00:19We started in July 2019, our company, but then there was a pandemic.
00:24So our main product before was perfume, then we innovated.
00:29Then pandemic came, then we need to decide what products we can sell,
00:34especially now that everything is shut down, so we have to cater food.
00:39I like what you said, you had an innovation.
00:42So in a business, it's really important that you innovate
00:45and you adapt to the new normal that we call.
00:48We know that there are a lot of Korean food out there in the market,
00:52so can you tell us more about our struggle?
00:55Of course, the birth pains that we call, like of course, the supplies.
01:01We lack, not because we lack, but the demand.
01:04So we looked for faster ways, like ordering.
01:08That's why now, since the company has really innovated,
01:12right now, we don't just order on Excel, we have our own franchise accounts.
01:17Everything is there.
01:18In a span of three years, you already have 400 branches.
01:22So that's a lot.
01:23Can you take us back when you were starting?
01:26Wasn't it hard?
01:27Of course, there are challenges, but we're ready.
01:31And we are really listening to the stories of our first franchises.
01:37So by that, we came up with ideas to improve our services.
01:41Because of course, we're not just after the sales,
01:44but we are after the after sales.
01:46Because we need to promote and take care of the brand.
01:49Speaking of in-demand, you offer two types of businesses
01:54because you want to offer job opportunities to every Filipino people.
01:58The good thing about that is we can also help them earn.
02:01Because of the pandemic, physical stores are not allowed.
02:04More on online.
02:05So we know that there are a lot of people who lost their jobs
02:08and are looking for a part-time job, especially now.
02:11That's why we started as Cloud Kitchen,
02:12where they can offer the food at home,
02:16no dine-in, more on online, more on takeouts.
02:18Then eventually, the pandemic ended.
02:21Then last 2023, we came up with the physical store.
02:24So Cloud Kitchen, you can have it for only Php 16,988.
02:29That's the other side.
02:30You can get a kiosk or a card.
02:33This one is Php 230,000.
02:36Why is it important for every Filipino to start a business?
02:39Like I said, these days, if you don't earn extra,
02:44we all know that everything is going up.
02:47So if we just base it on our basic salary,
02:50we're just catering to our basic needs.
02:53So if we want more, we have to do business.
02:57Success is not only for rich or powerful people,
03:01but also for people who have confidence in themselves and their abilities.
