00:00A head-on collision involving a car and a multi-purpose vehicle in Kluang killed a man

00:09The accident happened at kilometre 25 of Jalan Renggam Layang-Layang at 8pm.

00:15Kluang Police Chief ACP Bahrin Mohamad Noh said the MPV with a 35-year-old driver and

00:21eight passengers lost control and veered into the opposite lane before colliding with the

00:27other car.

00:28He said the car driver, identified as 29-year-old Mohamad Amiruddin Kamal Ruzaman, suffered

00:34severe head and facial injuries and died at the Enche Besar Hadja Khalsom Hospital.

00:40He said the MPV driver and all the passengers were receiving treatment at the hospital.

00:46The Fire and Rescue Department said firefighters freed the MPV driver who was pinned in the

00:52wreckage using special equipment while the public assisted the other victims.
