00:00And motorists should prepare for another round of fuel price hikes starting Tuesday, April 1st.

00:05Oil companies will raise gasoline prices by 1 peso and 40 centavos per liter

00:10and kerosene and diesel prices by 1.20 pesos per liter.

00:14Last week, gasoline prices also increased by 1 peso and 10 centavos per liter

00:20while diesel and kerosene prices rose by 40 centavos per liter.

00:24Energy Assistant Director Rodela Romero said

00:27the main reason for the price spike is concerns over global supply

00:31due to the sanctions on Iranian and Venezuelan oil.
