00:00After the moon sighting last night, our Muslim brothers and sisters prayed at the same time in Iligan City to bless the Eid al-Fitr or the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
00:11That is what Shariff Timhar of Radyo Pilipinas Iligan reported.
00:17Here at Mindanao State University Iligan Institute of Technology in Iligan City, our Muslim brothers and sisters prayed early to bless the Eid al-Fitr or the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
00:32It was led by MSU-IIT, a prominent Muslim organization that is Al-Jalis As-Saleh Incorporated.
00:39First and foremost, I'd like to wish everyone a happy Eid Mubarak.
00:42And we are happy that I think the crowd is getting bigger.
00:45We're not expecting that we'll have this number of participants for our centralized Eid.
00:50We will continue to do this.
00:51Our Muslim brothers and sisters celebrated the Eid al-Fitr after it was confirmed by Bangsamoro Mufti Abdul Rauf Jalani that the new moon was sighted last night.
01:00Meanwhile, Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao or BARMA declared a non-working holiday in the whole region today as part of the celebration.
01:10The regular holiday will remain tomorrow in the whole country according to Proclamation No. 839 of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
01:18From PBS Radyo Pilipinas Iligan, this is Shariff Timhar.
