00:33the House Makabayan bloc didn't express a birthday greeting but a strong opposition
00:37to the call from Duterte's supporters for an interim release of the former chief executive
00:42from the International Criminal Court or ICC's custody.
00:46According to House Deputy Minority Leader Franz Castro,
00:49given the gravity of the crimes against humanity charges that Duterte is facing,
00:53he should remain in detention until convicted.
01:14While for another member of the Makabayan bloc, Kabataan Partylist Representative Raul Manuel,
01:19the former president is even lucky because he's in a privileged and comfortable detention.
01:24Other families meanwhile reported they spend each year in cemeteries
01:28to commemorate the birthdays of their loved ones who perished during the war on drugs.
01:33Gabriela Partylist Representative Arlene Brosas also insisted that there is nothing to celebrate today
01:38due to the alleged hardships Duterte brought upon women under his administration.
01:43Meanwhile for the Duterte side, his supporters organized rallies today.
