00:17Now, MMDA blocked a lot of illegal campaign materials

00:23after an off-land gang-rape.

00:26Because of this, there's no more illegal campaign materials in Tuyuman in Manila.

00:36The left-right activity of local candidates for Hato Lagbayan 2025 hasn't started yet.

00:44The Commission on Elections in Kamalek and Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, MMDA

00:50started to remove illegal campaign materials in public places.

00:55This is a part of an off-land gang-rape.

00:58The campaign materials that were removed are being cleaned away by the Commission on Elections in Kamalek.

01:04The MMDA's tracks are full of illegal posters and tarpaulins.

01:09According to Kamalek's chairman, George Garcia, they waited for a long time

01:13because back then, the politicians are just aspirants.

01:16But now, they are official candidates that need to follow the instructions of the agency.

01:23The illegal campaign posters will be donated to the Eco-Waste Coalition to be recycled.

01:28Starting tomorrow, Kamalek will send a letter to the candidates

01:33to remove the illegal campaign materials that were placed in the wrong place.

01:38If they still don't follow, after three days, Kamalek will issue a show-cause order.

01:44This can lead to disqualification or election offense

01:48for imprisonment of one to six years.

01:52As for the posters on private property,

01:56Kamalek is asking to limit it to 2 by 3 meters

02:01and to use environmental-friendly materials.

02:04Meanwhile, the MMDA is reminding that they will not give a permit for motorcades

02:10on the roads that are under their jurisdiction on weekdays

02:14to avoid the heavy traffic.

02:17Motorcades will only be allowed on weekends and holidays.
