There's a lot of people there, a lot of passion, and I think we're looking at something similar
00:04
to what we had last time. Hopefully we get the similar support from the people across
00:09
Perth in the traffic and those that are coming out of the buildings in Perth, waving their
00:14
placards, thumbs up, shouting the message of support as our convoy goes past.
00:20
So the ban will affect our business in many different ways. We can't farm machinery, so
00:24
we'll end up being quieter. There's not enough sheep around, there's not enough buyers for
00:28
secondary smaller items. So the ban will be a flow-on effect for us, and like my daughter
00:34
Lucy works at the Roadhouse in Catanning, the flow-on effect will be continual for what
00:37
we do. So we're here to support the second tier. We're not really sheep farmers, but
00:42
we're here supporting the industry that supports us.
00:46
There's a lot of blokes in our industry getting out, or thinking of getting out. The sheep
00:50
numbers just aren't there. We're at the lowest wool clip we've ever had in a hundred years.
00:54
The merino flock is in decline and a rapid decline while we're at it.
