Bristol City is a “good spot” says Liam Manning

00:00Bristol City are in a good spot says head coach Liam Manning ahead of their

00:06trip to face Burnley in the championship off the back of the

00:09international break. Yeah and obviously some boys away so it's been a bit of

00:13everything. We've had the Norwich game so it was nice to go into the

00:17break off the back of a win and then use the opportunity to give the

00:21lads a few days. It was obviously a heavy period so the lads had a few days off

00:24then in working extremely hard and have been in again working hard this week so

00:28got the lads back from the international break they're all good so yeah in a good

00:33spot. Ross McCrory's trained so he's back in contention which is good so yeah

00:38that's the main bit really. We can give it a right good go I think that's the

00:41biggest bit we'll be doing everything we can the message won't change for the

00:44lads I think. It's about going out doing us giving absolutely everything you can

00:49and the lads have been a credit to themselves the club everything in the

00:53last few performances so that's the same. Of course we want to finish as high as

00:58we can and that ultimately you know comes down to then taking each game as

01:02it comes so you know Saturday's a tough one one that you know similar to

01:05Sheffield United in a way but one where we should be excited look forward to and

01:08then like I said go and give it you know the best account of ourselves.

01:13And finally Bristol Rovers head coach Inigo Calderon has said that his side have

01:17responded positively in training following their defeat against Crawley

01:20Town in League One going into their game against Mansfield. Good really positive

01:25really positive that's a good thing of coaching and football you know that you

01:30feel really bad after the game you feel really bad on a Sunday after you start

01:34to start to train on Monday to have meetings try to be with the people here

01:37and you always especially you see a reaction that gives you the confidence

01:42okay at least we are doing the thing everything we can do that is training

01:45hard and work harder. Obviously that hurts and obviously I was really down on

01:50Saturday as I didn't have to be but you know as you say try to get the

01:54positives there were not too many but it's just moving forward I'm thinking

01:58ahead and what's going on and what's happening next and as I said for me the

02:02most important thing is the day by day the work we do here and in the

02:05training ground and to see the players the commitment they have and you know

02:09the effort everybody is doing is that gives you the confidence that we are

02:13doing the things right.
