00:00Conspiring against, to overthrow the established government in India, that's the serious charge
00:15that has been levelled against us.
00:30Charged by the Maharashtra Police along with some other friends of mine for conspiring
01:00against, to overthrow the established government in India, that's the serious charge that has
01:10been levelled against us.

01:21social activists, even political activists who are working completely legitimately over
01:27ground.
01:28Well, I'm quite proud to call myself an urban Naxal.
01:32Urban Naxal meaning that I hold sympathies as a Naxal and I happen to live in an urban
01:43area which makes me an urban Naxal.
01:45Anti-nationalism has become the easiest way in which the government and the ruling party
01:51and its cohorts try to damn others who criticize them or raise questions.
01:58It's a nonsensical term because as far as we are concerned, if there is anybody who
02:04is a party or leaders who are betraying the real interest of the Indian people, it's the
02:17right wing forces in this country who shout the most about anti-nationalism and who claim
02:22that anybody who disagrees with them is an anti-national.
02:26For us, they are the ones who have betrayed the people of this country.
02:30We hold them responsible for all things that are going wrong in this country.
