01:20freak out and it would have been a disaster. When you're a kid, you're always dependent
01:24on your family, your father to buy you things, even lingerie for that matter.
01:29And the aftermath of that whole hospital incident was a total role reversal in our
01:35mother-daughter relationship where I became the adult and she became the child.

01:44So I felt really good about, you know, keeping my word, going on an adventure, just believing in
01:49myself that I could make it back home with 50 rupees in my pocket and I did and I felt
01:54really accomplished. I know a lot of people think that being an adult is about being responsible
01:59but to me it was that moment where I just got to have fun on my own terms.
02:04Adulting can be different for everyone, like for some people it can be the first time buying
02:09booze or for someone it can be the first time buying a palette of makeup or a particular
02:15dress or a brand. So I guess I realised I'm an adult when I had to
02:19be the adult for my mom and I realised that I'm not a baby anymore because she is my baby.
