00:09Now the results, released on June 4, are being questioned by several students over alleged discrepancies.
00:14Students who were absent got their result and students who were actually present marked as absent.
00:19Even after marking the correct answers, students got incorrect scores.
00:23Part of the NIFT admission process is the situation test, where students are given materials and asked to create a

00:29But now some students claim they receive marks for the test despite not appearing for it.
00:45Many students who cross-verify their responses with the official NTA answer key are also alleging major mismatches in their
00:51final scores.
00:52One of the students we spoke to claimed,
00:54A person expecting more than like 90 marks out of 100 in their general aptitude test got less than 50
01:00marks.
01:01I have gotten a lot of texts, like hundreds of messages, which I have not seen all of them.
01:06One student who approached the NTA regarding these discrepancies received this response.
01:11After confronting this to NTA, this was their reply.
01:14According to the student, the NTA responded to complaints of absent candidates receiving marks by saying,
01:18I have received four such cases, which will be checked tomorrow.
01:21The NIFT entrance exam is the primary gateway into India's premier fashion institute.
01:25It is the country's most sought-after institution for fashion, design, management and technology.
01:30So is this yet another exam putting the NTA under the scanner?
