Congressman Keith Self is blasting Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett for cracking a joke about Texas Governor Greg Abbott's disability ... though he refused to condemn President Donald Trump for doing something similar.

00:00Why is it important to censure Congresswoman Crockett?

00:06Well, first of all, she is just a bully.

00:08That's all there is to it.

00:10She's trying to explain it in a way she can't.

00:12And frankly, I'm not sure I support the censure

00:16because I frankly want AOC and Crockett

00:19to run for president in 2028.

00:21So let's just lay it out.

00:24If the Democrat party is gonna commit suicide,

00:27maybe they'll do it with AOC and Crockett.

00:29Maybe they'll just take the whole party down.

00:32If I'm kind of picking up what you're putting down,

00:34you think she crossed the line,

00:37whether you wanna censure her or not with the comment

00:40because you're saying she's a bully.

00:41Oh yeah, absolutely.

00:43This was out of bounds.

00:43Look, I've heard Greg Abbott tell people personally

00:47that in self-deprecation, he said,

00:51how slow was I running for a tree

00:53to hit me when it's falling?

00:55But he's allowed to do that.

00:57That's self-deprivation.

01:04disrespecting our disabled folks,

01:06whether it be the governor of Texas

01:09or whether it be the man on the street who has a disability.

01:12That's not something we do in America today.

01:14She's picking on the wrong man too.

01:16She's picking on Greg Abbott.

01:18He's heard it all and he can defend himself.

01:21Well, if the issue though is picking on disabled people,

01:28what about this?

01:36So that was Donald Trump talking about Sergei Kavaleski,

01:41who is a New York Times reporter who is disabled

01:44and Donald Trump was clearly mocking him.

01:48What's the difference?

01:49I am going to address what Crockett said

01:53as my colleague in Congress.

01:54We are addressing the censure movement,

01:57the censure that a member of Texas delegation

02:00is gonna put on the floor.

02:02This is not right, regardless of who does it.

02:05We've established that in America

02:08and I will stand on that position

02:10that our disabled folks do not deserve to be mocked.

02:13Well, but what about losing the high ground

02:17when the leader of your party does something like that?

02:20I'm not losing the high ground.

02:22That's a rhetorical question.

02:23I'm not gonna go there because I am going to stand

02:27that we do not mock people with disabilities.

02:30That's my stance.

02:31That's my stance against Crockett.

02:33And I think that whether I vote for the censure or not,

02:36I'll go back to the fact that the Democrat Party

02:38is now has AOC and Crockett as the two coming faces,

02:43the future faces of the Democrat Party.

02:46That's the point here.

02:47But Donald Trump is the face

02:48of the Republican Party right now.

02:50So was it wrong when he did that?

02:51Just like it's wrong when Jasmine Crockett did what she did.

02:54Once more, I'm gonna address Crockett

02:57and what she did against Greg Abbott.

03:00I'm not going to address any hypotheticals beyond that.

03:03Not a hypothetical, it actually happened.

03:05You can make your comparisons.

03:06I'm talking about Crockett.

03:08I was told we were gonna come on this show

03:11to discuss Crockett.
