00:03It's just starting to hit me. Grover is an 8th grader.

00:07This is the last year he'll be in my school.

00:10And this will be his last popcorn sale ever.

00:13Gemma, you have been getting emotional about everything.

00:16His last first day of middle school. His last Thanksgiving pageant.

00:20His last time sitting on the bench for the whole soccer game.

00:24It's an emotional time.

00:28And whichever homeroom sells the most gets to have a pizza party.

00:32And Grover's never won the pizza party.

00:35But it's not gonna be easy. You know Katie Friedman?

00:38The 7th grader? Ooh, girl, that child is talented!

00:42Honey, she sang Defying Gravity and I was in tears!

00:46Yes, Tina! She wins everything! She's a generational talent.

00:51And the principal in me is thrilled that she's in our school.

00:54But the mom in me wants my baby to win and crush that 7th grade diva.
