00:00The Malaysian Government has announced a structural change to the coaching staff by reinstating Rexy Mainaki as the head coach.

00:07She is now in charge of the men's, women's and mixed doubles team as the main focus.

00:13Meanwhile, the coach from Denmark, Kenneth Jonasson, is now in charge of the women's and men's singles team.

00:22The President of BAM, Dato' V Subramaniam, stated that this step is aimed at tidying up the coaching staff

00:29and improving the relationship based on Jonasson's expertise in singles and Rexy's extensive experience in the golf sector.

00:53The reason for us to do that is to actually to also relieve Rexy of additional duties.

01:03So we also want him to concentrate much on the doubles, you know, he's a doubles specialist.

01:08So for that purposes we do, of course we do, we did all this in discussion with all parties concerned.
