00:00The House Impeachment Prosecution Panel asked the Senate to issue a summons to ask Vice President Sara Duterte to answer to the articles of impeachment against her.
00:10According to the Rules of Procedure on Impeachment Trial of 2011, the writ of summons should serve an official who was impeached.
00:19She should also answer the accusations within 10 days.
00:22Vice President Duterte was impeached by the camera on February 5.
00:27As part of the articles of impeachment against her, she accused President Bongbong Marcos,
00:33First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos, and House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
00:38She also accused the Office of the Vice President and the Department of Education of using confidential funds.
00:47The visa has not been approved yet.
00:49But before, she insisted that her accusation is that she will be killed.
00:54She also said that there was nothing wrong with the use of confidential funds.
00:58According to Senate President Cesar Escudero, she will refer the pleading to the Senate legal team for discussion.
01:05The House Impeachment Prosecution Panel stated that they are not pressuring the Senate,
01:09but they also don't want to be accused of violating the Constitution.

01:20However, we do understand that the good Senate President might have a differing opinion
01:24and thus we would understand the reason for them to refer it to their legal team.
