00:00And as a person of color, as a black woman, I've had to overcome barriers myself.

00:04I've had to figure out how to navigate systems that aren't designed for me.

00:27Every day, my parents taught us, all six of their children,

00:33to celebrate through service the grace that is America.

01:01And today, I come to you as a young person, as a young woman, as a young black woman,

01:07to ask you to use us. We ask you to let us come forth with you, not behind you,

01:13not in front of you, but together, on that road to jobs, justice, and peace.

01:42I ran for office because I believe that you have to fight to protect the elderly,

01:46that you must stand for immigrants and be their voice, no matter what language they speak.

01:57Starting in 2014, we organized ourselves, we raised money, and we registered 86,000 New Georgians.

02:22We are writing the next chapter of Georgia's future, where no one is unseen,

02:27no one is unheard, and no one is uninspired.

02:36So I take the right to vote very seriously.

02:38I only believe that those who have the legal eligibility to vote should cast a ballot.

02:53But here's the thing, to claim our victory, to write that next chapter, and live those best lives,

03:00we have a lot of work to do.
