Ripple announced that the Securities and Exchange Commission has officially dropped its lawsuit accusing the company, according to CNBC. The lawsuit accused the company of raising over $1 billion through XRP sales without registering them as securities. The dismissal follows a wave of resolved or dropped SEC actions involving Coinbase, Kraken, Robinhood, Binance, and OpenSea. The SEC is shifting from enforcement to engagement under the Trump administration.
