00:00Even if it's not a professional athlete, we want to help women to succeed in anything that they want to do.
00:14There are so many things that are bigger than soccer, are bigger than
00:18what I do. You know, I am more than an athlete.
00:21We have these amazing platforms to really use our voices and not only for us as individuals and a team,
00:27but for, you know, women and men and children across, you know, the world.
00:32And I think that's a part of our job and duty to really express that and use our platform for better and for change.
00:39I would hope at any time that this team can inspire a younger generation.
00:43Even if it's not a professional athlete, we want to help women to succeed in anything that they want to do, to dream big, that it's
00:49possible, and continue to kind of knock down barriers, fight a little bit, and to understand and to ask questions.
00:54I think the best thing that anybody can do is to ask questions and to challenge the status quo of what's going on.
01:00And, you know, we're doing that in a very
01:04authentic way.
01:06These things need to be talked about and it's going to take a long time to break down, you know, a lot of the systems that have been ingrained in our culture and society for, like, hundreds of years.
01:31So it's not like, you know, one movement or, you know, one summer where people are excited to talk about it or one, you know, hashtag that goes viral.
01:40We really need, like, sustained conversation, sustained efforts to, like, chip away at these deep roots that we have in our culture.
