From Harlem to SOHA? The potential renaming of the world-famous neighborhood has residents fuming.

00:18It's like a slap in the face to me.

00:21We love it and we don't need another name. Harlem is Harlem all by itself.

00:31How dare someone try to rob our culture and try to act as if we were not here.

00:40And create a new name to create a new reality as if the clock started when other people showed up.

00:46This is our home, this is our culture.

00:53This is a place that people visit.

00:55I look out of my window every Sunday morning and I see tourists having a good time in Harlem, not SoHo.
