Americans divided on coronavirus

The coronavirus outbreak seems to have become a partisan issue — here's how.

00:07in China from entering the United States, an action which the Democrats loudly criticized

00:13and protested.

00:14And now everybody's complimenting me saying, thank you very much.

00:52No, I think you have to always, you know, I do it a lot anyway, as you probably heard,

00:57wash your hands, stay clean.

01:23I said that the American people need a coordinated, whole-of-government, fully funded response

01:29to keep us safe from the coronavirus threat.

01:32Unfortunately, up until now, the Trump administration has mounted an opaque and often chaotic response

01:39to this outbreak.

01:40You have a lot of people that aren't going to the hospital, so we're not seeing those

01:47people.

01:48And if you did see those people, believe me, if you did see those people, the statistics

01:54actually become much better, because they heal, they get better, they don't see a doctor,

01:58they don't see a hospital.

02:10This is yet another attempt to impeach the president.

02:13And the Democrats' single talking point, and you see it, is that it's Donald Trump's fault,
