Here's where Donald Trump and Joe Biden stand on the Covid-19 pandemic.

00:00We're turning the corner. We're rounding like this racetrack. Look at this. It's perfect.

00:05We're rounding the curve. We will vanquish the virus.

00:09This is a dark winter ahead. Already more than 220,000 people in the United States of America

00:16have lost their lives to this virus. 220,000 empty chairs at dinner tables all across this country.

00:24But you notice the fake news now, right? All they talk about is COVID, COVID, COVID,

00:30COVID, COVID. And we've made such progress. It's incredible.

00:34The refusal of the Trump administration to recognize the reality we're living through

00:38at a time when almost 1,000 Americans a day are dying every single day is an insult to every

00:45single person suffering from COVID-19 and every family who's lost a loved one.

00:51You know, some countries, they report differently. If somebody's sick with a heart problem and they

00:56die of COVID, they say they died of a heart problem. If somebody's terminally ill with cancer

01:02and they have COVID, we report them. And you know, doctors get more money and hospitals get more

01:09money. He suggested the doctors were inflating the numbers. Catch this, because doctors get

01:16more money. What in the hell's the matter with this man? A thousand doctors and nurses have given

01:23their lives trying to save lives. If I listened totally to the scientists, we would right now have

01:29a country that would be in a massive depression instead of, we're like a rocket ship. Take a look

01:34at the numbers. Throughout all this, yes, Mr. President, I'll listen to the scientists and I'll

01:41empower them. Now, how about California, though, where you're supposed to eat with the mask? Can't

01:46take it off. You see people? And boy, you know, when you have spaghetti and meat sauce, that mask

01:54is not looking. You walk out, it looks like you got into a fight with Dana White. I'll go to every

02:00governor, urge them to mandate masks wearing in their states. And if they refuse, I'll go to the

02:06mayors and county executives and get local masking requirements in place nationwide. As president,

02:12I'll mandate mask wearing in all federal buildings and all interstate transportation,

02:17because masks save lives, period. But now with the COVID, what we do, and you know,

02:23they keep talking about cases. You know why we have cases so much? Because that's all we do is

02:27test. If we cut our testing down in half, they'd say, well, they wouldn't say that,

02:33but cases would go down. I'll put a national testing plan in place with a goal of testing

02:39as many people each day as we're currently testing each week, a seven fold increase.

02:47One of the things we've done a really good job on is COVID. We would have millions of people,

02:52millions right now. We would have millions of people. Yeah. Two million people. They were

02:58projecting 2.2. If we didn't do what we did, we did the ventilators and now we're doing all

03:04of the equipment, but now we're doing vaccines. We're doing therapeutics and we've done a great

03:10job. The United States is 4% of the entire world's population. Yet we make up 20% of all the deaths

03:21worldwide. If this is a success, what's a failure look like? We will vanquish the vaccine and we

03:31will get rid of this whole thing. We will get rid of this virus. It'll be very, you watch,

03:38it's going to happen very quickly and we're going to have our country back and the whole world is

03:44going to be coming back. Even if I win, it's going to take a lot of hard work to end this

03:50pandemic. I'm not running in the false promise of being able to end this pandemic by flipping a

03:55switch. But what I can promise you is this. We will start on day one doing the right things.
