'Sexiest Teacher Alive' Combats Gender Inequality

Once named the "sexiest teacher alive," he's teaching his class about combating gender inequality.

00:00Men are deathly afraid to have women in power because it takes away the control factor.

00:12I picked six of our biggest, toughest football players, and we had 18 of our feminist club

00:26members, and they were voting on school policy.

00:30The policies I wrote, however, were very anti-boy.

00:34Boys are not allowed to wear tank tops in gym during school.

00:39Again, boys are not allowed to wear tank tops in gym or during school because they distract

00:45girls.

00:46If you are in favor of this, please raise your hand.

00:50All boys must take an extensive female studies course and domestic duties course to understand

00:56female struggles and perform domestic duties, such as sewing, knitting, and sewing.

01:03It was very interesting to see six boys, which are 20% of the voting population in the class,

01:09flip out when 15-year-old girls are deciding their fate.

01:12And they quickly got the idea that this is unfair and then made the association that's

01:16how it is in Congress.

01:26We indirectly teach racism, sexism, and discrimination by giving kids the impression that one group

01:30did everything while other groups were more of a side note.

01:33Our goal with the Teach the Truth campaign is to partner with different organizations

01:37that are focusing on not only minority history, but women's history and LGBTQ history and

01:44slowly implementing programs in the curriculum.

01:53A lot of men are still insecure about being in the feminist club because they feel it

01:57somehow makes them feel less of a man to respect and value women.

02:01And the one thing I stress to my students all the time is it's insecure men that feel

02:06like giving a woman respect somehow makes them inferior or less of a man.
