00:00I look at it like, you know, sometimes people kind of look at their hardships and their

00:05upbringing and they say, kind of, why me or, you know, this is very difficult and this

00:09is very challenging.

00:11And I was one of those kids at that point in time.

00:13But as I got older, I realized that those hardships, those streets that I roamed, those

00:19late nights, those tough nights, those dark nights, is actually what make you.

00:44He's an unbelievable player.

00:46He's one of the best players in the world, if not the best player in the world.

00:50I know it's a natural tendency to compare eras to eras and, you know, it's going to

00:55continue to happen.

01:07I can imagine being 16 years old and having a kid, being a sophomore in high school and

01:12having to raise a kid, you know, by myself, without the means, without the support system,

01:18without anything, and giving that kid a sense of, just a sense of pride, a sense of strength,

01:26a sense of no worry.

01:43The hardships and the great things that I've gone through, it's all built LeBron James.

02:13You know, sometimes when you're a kid, you don't believe that your dream can become reality.

02:33I feel horrible, disappointed, I can't believe that he would do that to Cleveland, I hope

02:46he never wins any championships wherever he's at, because he's a loser, he's not a winner.

02:51All this hero-villain mess, it's bizarre.

03:21You know, it's a message to the family, you know, that I'm sorry for their loss, sorry,

03:33you know, to his wife, and, you know, that's what it's about.

03:45I grew up in the inner city and I know the whole notion of getting out and voting, and

03:51I was one of those kids, and I was around a community that was like, our vote doesn't

03:55matter, but it really does, it really, really does.

04:13Less than a month ago, I was able to go back home and put up a school in my hometown, 240

04:22kids out of the inner city, third and fourth graders, and by 2021, we should have 1,200

04:30kids from grades first to eighth.

05:00What are we getting?

05:09Because right now, what's going on is not, it's just not okay, and, but I hope I can

05:16continue to uplift my community, uplift communities all over America, uplift the black community.

05:23I said, that's part of the reason why I started more than a vote to, you know, just to get

05:29people to understand how important our voices are.

05:33We just thank him for sacrificing, you know, everything that he did to put us in the position

05:51today, and even, you know, years later, to be able to have that moment like we had tonight.

05:59When you're trying to create change, you can't lose sight of what the main thing is, and

06:25why we came out here.

06:26Yes, we've been using our voice, and yes, we've been using our platform and trying to

06:30create change, but, you know, there's an opportunity to actually come out sometimes, just take

06:35a deep breath, and that was the moment.
