He's one of the top tennis players in the world – and he gives back to his native country, Togo, with every point he scores.

00:00My father gives back a lot to his family, to his neighborhood, to his community.
00:04But he also always had the intention of giving back.
00:08After leaving the country at a fairly young age,
00:10after leaving a few people behind him.

00:28I always had the intention of giving back to the next generation,
00:33to the community, to those in need,
00:36to give opportunities to others that I was lucky enough to have.
00:40And for me, for a first cause in which I was committed,
00:43I had to go with something that was close to my heart,
00:45with something that made sense to me.

00:56In fact, last year, thanks to a first meeting with BNP Paribas,
00:59who is a partner in our project, and CARE International,
01:02we set up this project, which we named FA Points for Change.
01:06When I met CARE, who told me about what they were already doing,
01:09about the project, I liked their approach, I liked their way of working,
01:13and I liked to see the smiles they could bring to the faces of the children.
01:18They are already training trainers in Togo.
01:20They have the renovation of sports grounds,
01:24the purchase of school kits, the renovation of schools.
01:28Each victory counts twice or even three times for me this year.
01:32So I'm really happy that the competition is resuming.
01:35I have a very nice promotion.
01:36There are still a lot of things that I want to accomplish, that I want to do.
01:38But frankly, since I started my CARE International,
01:41I can't ask for anything better.
