00:00I feel like people are more comfortable talking about it and being open about it.

00:03I feel like it's been happening for a long time.

00:13I think that it's great that people are trying to find for themselves what works and not look

00:21into sort of these really ancient archaic structures to give them all the guidelines.

00:26I feel like the movie kind of has, to me, a little message of if everybody is okay with it

00:34and if everybody, you know, consents and says, yeah, you can do whatever you want.

00:47Marc Mary and Some Other People is a lovely comedy, maybe a dramedy,

00:53um, about a couple who gets married and doesn't get bored but decides to discover and, um,

01:02kind of try an open relationship and, um, it gets a little crazy from there.

01:07That's what I hope people can take from this movie is that it can be chaotic and scary and

01:12funny and romantic, but it's good to figure it out for yourself what you like to do.

01:24What drew me in first was the subject matter.

01:29It felt like something that almost everybody I knew was talking about,

01:35and if they weren't talking about it, I would assume they were probably thinking about it.

01:39This thing about open relationships, I think,

01:42is very interesting and it's something that a lot of young people are trying around me.

01:51But I definitely think having a movie or music or art around it helps

01:55normalize the conversation, and I hope that this movie does that too.

02:03Yes, I have, um, and, uh, we broke up.

02:09I don't know if I could do it, and I think I would get mad. I think I'm not a sharing person.

02:16I don't want to, I don't want to know. Hats off to the people that can do it.

02:21When I'm with someone, I just, like, everyone else kind of disappears for me,

02:26so I feel like sometimes, even if this opportunity came up, I wouldn't even know.

02:32As to what makes a couple people stay together for their whole lives, I'm still,

02:38I still don't know the answer, but I certainly, it was fun to see how,

02:46yeah, how it could be, it could be a really fun adventure to go on with somebody,

02:52to break down cultural norms in that way and do things on your own term.
