Mum with fear of flying asks plane spotter to film her son’s first ever flight

A mum with a lifelong fear of flying asked plane spotters to film her son’s first-ever flight as he jetted off on a school trip abroad.

Victoria Briggs, 43, has never stepped on a plane herself but wanted to witness her 15-year-old son's first flight in any way she could.

Victoria, who often watches live webcams of planes at airports, reached out to SDTVLiveAviation—a YouTube streamer based at Gatwick Airport.

SDTVLiveAviation was happy to help and livestreamed Hayden Briggs's flight on March 13 as it took off from Gatwick Airport and headed to Switzerland.
