Gosport Florist celebrates 50th Anniversary

Zodiac Florist in Whitworth Road, Gosport, celebrated their 50th anniversary on Monday, March 24, 2025.

00:04Brilliant. So tell me how it feels to be celebrating 50 years.

00:08It's quite a remarkable achievement.

00:11I can't believe that shop has reached that far.

00:14Because of just being a family-run, independent business,

00:18not many people can reach that milestone.

00:21Tell me, what's some of the fondest memories you have from over the years?

00:25Oh, just all sorts.

00:28Just most people will always remember my mum for her love and passion for flowers.

00:36And also just mum's customers and also my own customers are remarkable.

00:42So yeah, there's so many memories that we can all just look back on.

00:49But yeah, just long hours and more fun.

00:53And tell me what the response has been from the community.

00:57The community have been really supportive.

01:01Especially in the last few years, where just flowers aren't a necessity.

01:07But now they've supported us so we can come through and actually celebrate this 50 years achievement.
