00:08A boy drowned in San Jacinto, Pangasinan.
00:12According to the story of the 10-year-old victim,
00:14he was accompanied by his brother and three friends who took a bath in the river.
00:19The boy went to the deep part of the river where he drowned.
00:24The boy's friend was rushed to the hospital but he remained dead on arrival.
00:30He also reminded that children should always have someone to accompany them when they take a bath.
00:35According to the Department of Health,
00:37to avoid drowning, it is advisable to take a bath if you do not know how,
00:41to stay in a shallow area and to learn various safety rescue skills.
